About us
We are people who follow the teachings
of the Buddha. The founders of Karma Tengyal Ling as an institution
are the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa and the 3rd Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche.
The institution is supported by the association of the same name.
The purposes of the association include the establishment of a
temple and the construction of a monastery or temple complex in
which the study and practice of Buddhist teaching is made possible.
Building Project
Based on the current property here in
Stechlin-Menz a Buddhist Institution in the form of a
monastery-temple complex is planned. It is designed to provide
access to the Buddhas Teachings in their entirety. The quiet and
remote location far out of villages is ideal for study, practice and
meditation. The site is also designed to be a place for dialogue and
exchange of different religions and world views.
The Institute
You need a few days rest, want to retire
from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, long for silence and
nature? Far from the noise of the big city, you will not hear more
road noise. You can join us in our meditations, or retire to our
meditation rooms alone. You can be silent for a few days or spend a
few hours of the day in contemplative participation (Karma Yoga).
What you can do
Give joy. As with all things of life,
mental support is very important to any project. It is the simplest
and ultimately the most effective support. Because enjoying a
project encourages others to support this. So even the financially
weakest person is able to let the temple and monastery project of
the Buddhist Institute for the benefit of all become reality. We
would be very happy if we could infect you with our enthusiasm and
our joy.
